Spengster Updates

Spengster is now OPEN SOURCE and ONLINE!

As soon as I am done v2.0, I am going to implement an online version of the dictionary too!

I am working on version 2.0 of Spengster Dictionary.
Among other major changes and improvements, it will have a dual word list, which means that I will be able to implement binary searches for both spanish-english and english-spanish translations (that means almost instantaneous results). It also means a larger word base.

Web Changes

10/13/01 - Migrating from a free server to a full paid server. No more database outages, but I still have to move all database data onto the new server. The online dictionary works!

(OLD) Redesigned Site in PHP - now all of my dynamic problems are solved and no longer at the expense of browser incompatibility.

(OLD) Download page made easier to use and added setup files for the dictionary.
